Where is the truth?

Why salt has become so popular? This is due to its property to improve the taste of food. The most exquisite dishes seem to us without salt – not tasty.

Opponents of salt intake assert that primitive people did without it, and the habit of salting food appeared only in the process of evolution. However, many doctors say: salt man is vital. After all life originated in the ocean! Therefore, salt is present in all our body fluids, either blood, plasma, sweat or tears.
Sodium chloride (this is the “scientific” name of the salt, indicating its composition) is involved in the metabolism and bone formation. It cleans the blood vessels from fatty deposits, and its salty taste stimulates salivation and helps food digestion.

Receive the salt, we can only outside. If you are sweating, you are doing sports, you often hot, the rate of salt intake should be increased. The same is recommended for diseases associated with fever and diaree.
If the body lacks salt, it can lead to cell death. The result is a nerve disorder, the deterioration of muscles, drowsiness, weakness and even brain damage. By the way, salt as a medication used in metabolic disorders, as well as problems with the heart, kidneys. Incidentally, studies show that reducing salt intake not only normalizes blood pressure,  but also increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases. So salt-free diet, to put it mildly, not too healthy.
It is very important what kind of salt and how much we eat. Since our blood is very similar in composition to sea water, then we will approach it sea salt.

Salt, which we usually eat, after cleaning and processing alters its structure and loses many useful properties. Moreover, additives that fall into it during processing, are carcinogenic. They and cause unwanted consequences.

In the natural, unrefined, as salt is easier to digest and keeps positive qualities. For example, it contains useful and necessary for the body potassium, calcium, magnesium, copper and iodine.

Salt is also organic and inorganic. Inorganic contained in any salt products such as cheese, salami, pickled vegetables and sauces. Organic (vegetable origin), we obtain with fresh vegetables and fruits.
If the organic salt completely eliminated from the body, then the consumption of inorganic salt excess of it remains inside our hearts that leads to the notorious deposition of salts and metabolic disorders. And because this may increase blood pressure, edema, kidney disease, liver, heart disease.
Is therefore useful to drink fresh vegetable juices and mineral water. As for the food we are accustomed to eating salt, it is best to use salted marine food salt, which is now sold in supermarkets. Adding it recommended in ready meals, , as in the thermal processing lost useful features.
Incidentally, statistics show that people eat more and more salt (and more harmful, cooking!), Adding it in various dishes. Sometimes even normal salted foods seem to us - not salted.
British scientists have unraveled recently – the secret of this “love” .  They found that, it turns out, salt elevates mood. For a number of characteristics of its impact on the human body is comparable to the influence of drugs! The results showed that people who reduce their salt intake, often developed depression.
Strain at the vegetarian food, and in other dishes add more spices, advise researchers. And then the salt balance in the body will not be disturbed.
